There are many practical Stress-Ease things you can do to help yourself. Here are some of my favourite that really work when applied!
- A trouble shared with the wrong person is not always a trouble halved
- Talk yourself up, not down
- Dissociate yourself with gossiping and toxic, negative people
- Practice emotional detachment: give yourself time before reacting
- Consider regular supplementation of Omega 3 & 6 widely known to promote good mental health
- Look at your nutrition .. avoid energy sapping foods and drinks and anything that purports to give you an energy spike (the energy crash will always follow)
- Schedule time for daily meditation
- Take regular exercise including the heart-pumping, sweat inducing kind as well as walks in nature for fresh air and pure pleasure
- Cultivate bliss wherever you can - a vase of fresh flowers, a scented candle, a walk in the sunshine, a motivational book, a barefoot walk at the beach, reading for pleasure with a small child ..
- Practice random acts of kindness
- Keep a gratitude journal
- Be a person who chooses to see a glass half full
- Question your reaction to certain food or drink choices - note the emotion you feel before you eat or drink
- Cultivate a mindset that is open to change
- Choose to see only the good in others and listen to the good they see in you
- Be your own best friend
- Connect with yourself and really listen to your intuition
